Over the years, I’ve worked with a lot of car dealers through my business, C Jay’s Custom Auto Accessories. Some were good, some not so much, and a few stood out.
One of those is Southampton Motor Cars, located at 489 Second Street Pike in Southampton, PA. It’s a family-owned dealership that’s been in business since 1997, specializing in used cars and light trucks.
I met the owner, Gary Gaynor, back when I was doing automotive accessory work for dealerships. He was just getting started around the same time my own business was going through the transitions this site talks about.
Since then, I’ve referred friends and family to Gary whenever they’ve needed a vehicle. Out of all the used car dealers I’ve worked with, he’s the only one I’ve consistently trusted to take care of people.
Whether someone needed basic transportation on a budget or was looking to upgrade, Gary has always treated people honestly with integrity.
Over the past 20+ years, I never personally needed his help — until recently. On March 6th of this year, my car broke down. I made one call to Gary, told him exactly what I was looking for, and he came through.
I wanted a car less than 10 years old, low miles, no SUVs, and under $15,000. That’s exactly what I got.
